Born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, Deuce is the grandson of the late Third Circuit Court of Appeal Judge, Jerome E. Domengeaux, Sr.

Deuce attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, majoring in history, and was named to the Dean’s and President’s lists. He obtained his Juris Doctorate from the Southern University Law Center in 2020 while participating in the American Association for Justice, Louisiana Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. After admittance to the Louisiana State Bar Association, Deuce worked as an Assistant District Defender for the 15th JDC Public Defender’s Office, Lafayette Parish-Felony Division. Thereafter, he joined Jeansonne & Remondet in 2021.

He and his wife, Kiri, have two young daughters, June Francis and Margot Jane. They are parishioners of the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and enjoy spending time together cheering on the New Orleans Saints.

Deuce is a member of the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Bar Associations. He is admitted to practice in all state and federal district courts in Louisiana.
