Sarah is a native and lifelong resident of Lafayette, Louisiana. She earned a B.A. degree in Political Science, cum laude, from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where she was a member of the Honor’s Program and named to the Dean’s List. She obtained Juris Doctor and Graduate Diploma of Comparative Law degrees from Paul M. Hebert Law Center at Louisiana State University. During law school, Sarah was a student mentor, ranked first in her class in Administrative Law and Family Law of Persons, was named to the Chancellor’s List, was chosen for clerkships in defense litigation and healthcare law, and clerked for the Honorable Judge Patrick J. Hanna, United States Magistrate Judge, Western District of Louisiana. Following law school, she was a judicial law clerk for the Honorable John D. Saunders, Third Circuit Court of Appeal, and litigation associate, representing litigants in a variety of personal injury and damages cases.

Sarah is a member of the Lafayette Parish and Louisiana State Bar Associations and the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel. She is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Louisiana.
